Local organizations have partnered to highlight startups and entrepreneurs.
Accelerate Sheboygan County and the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) have announced the return of the Startup World Cup Sheboygan Regional Pitch Competition, which will be held on October 19th at the Weill Center for the Performing Arts.
Applications to participate are now open for the event, which will bring together entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, and community members to celebrate and showcase their innovative ideas or business plans with cash prizes on the line.
The pitch selected as the winner of the regional competition by a panel of judges will receive $2,000, while the pitch deemed the People’s Choice, selected by those in attendance, will receive $1,000.
Additionally, the regional winner in Sheboygan will join 100s off other winners from across the globe to compete in the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco, where the ultimate winner will receive a $1 million investment prize.
