An Oconto woman has been sentenced for her role in her boyfriend’s death in 2022.
33-year-old Sarah Dahl was previously found guilty due to a no-contest plea on one count of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide for providing the fentanyl to her boyfriend, which ultimately took his life.
FOX 11 reports that Judge John Zakowski ordered Dahl to spend seven years in prison, followed by eight years on extended supervision.
The victim, only identified by his initials, DJT, was found unresponsive in a home in the Town of Morrison on December 26th, 2022.
He was later declared dead, with the cause of death being an overdose.
Multiple items of drug paraphernalia were found inside the home, and Dahl was arrested after it was learned she had given two pills she believed to be oxycodone.
