Residents in Kiel might see Frontier Fiber workers marking utilities on their property.
The city explains that it’s part of an infrastructure project that would enhance connectivity and improve services for the community.
Kiel officials explain that as the work continues, there could be temporary disruptions, including construction near homes and roadways.
If utilities are underground, Frontier contractors will excavate in the public right-of-way to create a path for the fiber-optic cable, then restore any impacted streets.
