It was a big day of fundraising for the Manitowoc County Parkinson’s Disease Support Group.
Secretary Alan Brixius tells Seehafernews.com that they raised $3,000 during Promenade the Park for Parkinsons and got a record number of participants.
They are also still collecting for their organization.
Brixius says they look forward to next year.
This was the 4th year for Promenade the Park for Parkinsons.
Participants walk around Washington Park while learning about other organizations that provide services to people with Parkinson’s Disease.
