A former Racine County Sheriff’s detective is finding himself on the other side of the law.
Jonathan Bechman was arrested and charged recently with battery, domestic abuse, and misconduct in office for allegedly beating his wife.
Bechman also allegedly used police records to find her location.
WISN reports prosecutors have mentioned there being a history of domestic violence with his wife that dates back 30 years.
Bechman is scheduled to be in court today.
