
The Wisconsin Interscholastic Association has released girls’ softball postseason pairings.
Division Three
Play begins on Thursday (May 21st), where the defending Division Four state champion Mishicot Indians draw an eight-seed and host the Chilton Tigers, with the winner playing at top seed Southern Door on Tuesday, May 26th.
Kiel, a seven seed, hosts 10 seed Sturgeon Bay with the winner playing at two-seed New Holstein on May 26th.
Oostburg is a seven-seed in their bracket and hosts ten-seed Mayville, with the winner advancing to play at two-seed Laconia, and Cedar Grove-Belgium, a nine-seed, plays at eight-seed Berlin, with top seed Lomira to host the winner on May 26th.
Games to be played on May 26th include Valders, seeded sixth in their bracket, beginning their trek for a second straight trip to Madison at three-seed Wrightstown, four-seed Brillion hosts five-seed Kewaunee, and Howards Grove is seeded fifth in their region and travels to four-seed Winnebago Lutheran Academy in Fond Du Lac.
Division Four
Games to be played on Thursday (May 21st) include seven-seed Roncalli hosting ten-seed Weyauwega-Fremont, with the winner advancing to play at 2 seed Princeton/Green Lake, and Sevastopol, seeded eighth, hosts nine-seed Montello, with top seed Algoma to host the winner on Tuesday, May 26th.
Matchups set for May 26th have five-seed Manitowoc Lutheran travelling to four-seed Markesan, eight-seed Sheboygan Christian/Sheboygan Lutheran travels to top-seed Johnson Creek, two-seed Random Lake entertains seven-seed Ozaukee, and St. Mary Catholic draws a three-seed and will host six-seed St. Mary’s Springs of Fond Du Lac.
Division Two
On Thursday (May 21st), ten-seed Sheboygan South heading to Sheboygan Falls to battle seven-seed Sheboygan Falls/Kohler, with the winner to travel to two-seed Kewaskum on Tuesday, May 26th.
Other games to be played on May 26th include five-seed Two Rivers heading to four-seed Campbellsport, six-seed Winneconne traveling to three-seed Plymouth, and Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay, a four-seed, is home for five-seed Shawano.
Defending state-champion Denmark has a top-seed and a first-round bye, and will host the winner of North Fond Du Lac and Little Chute. Luxemburg-Casco also has a first-round bye. The second-seed Spartans host the winner of Marinette and New London.
Division Five
The opener on Thursday, May 21st, has nine-seed Reedsville travelling to eight-seed Port Edwards, with the winner advancing to top-seed Almond-Bancroft on Tuesday, May 26th.
Games to be played on May 26th have four-seed Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah home for five-seed Williams Bay, Hilbert, a five-seed in their bracket travels to Wisconsin Rapids to play four-seed Assumption, and Gibraltar/Washington Island hosts the Marion Mustangs.
Division One
Manitowoc Lincoln has the 11 seed and will open on Tuesday May 26th at six-seed Kaukauna. and the 12 seed Sheboygan North opens at the five seed Oshkosh West.
