Cleanup from the powerful storm over the weekend continues in Two Rivers.
Two Rivers Utilities tells SeehaferNews.com that, as of last night, power was still out on Lowell Street to Tannery Street between 38th and 39th Street.
This also includes 43rd Street east of Columbus Street and 26th and 27th Street from Lincoln Avenue to Garfield.
Two Rivers Utilities also noted that homes throughout still need their services reconnected after the electric mast repairs.
They also tell residents that if their electric service mast is damaged, they must contact an electrician to make repairs before city services can be reconnected.
They are also still addressing areas for fallen trees, damaged equipment, and utility lines.
Residents were also asked yesterday to leave tree debris by the roadside this morning.
Two Rivers Public Utilities finished by saying they appreciate everyone’s patience as they work to restore power.
Weather reports suggest that straight-line winds caused trees to be uprooted and branches to fall during Sunday’s storms.
