A man and woman from Kiel are facing drug charges.
The Kiel Police Department, Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, and Calumet County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in the 800 block of 6th Street last Friday (May 15th).
A 27-year-old was taken into custody and has been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of O.C Spray by a felon, as well as felony and misdemeanor bail jumping.
A penalty enhancer was also tacked on because the 27-year-old lived within 1,000 feet of a school.
A 53-year-old female living at the home is also facing charges.
Kiel Police also say that on the evidence seized during the search warrant, investigators believe the man, who was not named, was a significant supplier of illegal narcotics to people in the community.
The department concludes by stating that it remains committed to ensuring community safety by actively investigating reports of illegal narcotics activity and working collaboratively with partner agencies to hold offenders accountable.
