The City of Manitowoc will collect storm debris north of the Manitowoc River next week.
Director of Public Works Dan Koski explains that this is not a regular brush or bulk pickup, but for storm-generated debris, specifically on the city’s north side.
That’s where much of the damage happened and where many residents experienced power outages.
If you live south of the Manitowoc River and sustained actual storm damage, residents are asked to contact the city’s Department of Public Works so staff can evaluate what happened.
Koski continues, explaining that city crews will make only one pass through affected areas and will accept only storm-related items.
Like in Two Rivers, materials, like brush and limbs, must not exceed five feet in length or six inches in diameter.
Anyone with questions should contact the Manitowoc Department of Public Works at 920-686-6550.
