A Manitowoc non-profit is looking to help those in Two Rivers affected by Sunday’s storm.
Grow it Forward has announced that they will be in the Cool City this evening for an emergency food distribution event.
Volunteers and staff will be on hand across from the Two Rivers Senior Center on Adams Street from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., or until the food is gone.
Those looking to receive an emergency food allotment are asked to enter from the 18th Street Side and line up on the west side of Adams Street.
The food allotment may include hamburger, milk, butter, cheese, eggs, fruit, and or a mixed shelf-stable food box.
Grow it Forward issued a “heartfelt thank you to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, Hunger Task Force, Inc., the Two Rivers Hunger Coalition, and Grow It Forward donors for helping make this emergency response possible.”
