A Manitowoc man has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault of a minor.
Manitowoc Police were first informed of the assault on May 4th when the victim reached out.
She claimed that the suspect engaged in sexual contact with her the day prior, despite her pleas for him to stop.
The victim, whose age was redacted in the police report, claimed similar assaults had occurred three separate times between January 2023 and June 2025.
She also claimed the man had told her, “Don’t tell anybody about what I do to you on the sofa.”
The victim also recalled a situation where the man touched her while the two were under a blanket and a woman was nearby.
The suspect gave himself up on Monday, refusing to answer any questions under the guidance of his attorney.
In total, he was charged with 1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Engaging in Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of the Same Child.
1st Degree Sexual Assault of a Child is defined in state statute as “sexual contact or sexual intercourse with a person who has not attained the age of 13 years and causes great bodily harm to the person,” and is a Class B felony.
The second charge he faces can be anywhere from a Class C felony to a Class A felony, depending on the legal severity of each of the violations.
