
There are three governmental meetings scheduled for today (May 18th) in the City of Sheboygan.
The City’s Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. inside the second-floor conference room at City Hall.
They will begin with a discussion on Commission vacancies and a report from the Wisconsin Association of Historic Preservation Commissions conference.
They will then close with an update on the ongoing projects at Urban and Farnsworth Middle Schools.
Also meeting at 3:30 p.m. will be the Board of Waterworks Commissioners inside the Water Utility Admin Office, where they will first receive the financial and Superintendent’s report before reviewing various proposals.
Closing out the evening will be the Common Council meeting inside Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
The Council is set to discuss entering into a contract with Wendel Architecture, PC, for construction management services relating to the public safety complex project.
They will also vote on the issuance and sale of just under $3 million of Water Utility Revenue Bonds, Series 2026.
Then, before adjourning for the night, the group will take possible action on the City’s amended zoning code.
