However, the city noted, “We are still aware other areas throughout that still need repairs. Crews are continuing to work to make repairs for restoration.”
Two Rivers Utilities issued a thank you to Kaukauna, Menasha, Waupun, and New London Utilities for sending Mutual Aid crews to assist.

MPU has confirmed this morning that there are fewer than 40 customers without power, with about half of them a part of one specific outage.
Communications Manager Jennie Nelson also explained, “We had many complex outages involving downed lines, broken poles, and tangled trees, and we continue to work towards full restoration as quickly as safety allows.”
Two Rivers is also dealing with an outage that is affecting the north side of the City, causing the closure of L.B. Clarke Middle School
***ORIGINAL STORY***
A sudden wind and thunderstorm on Sunday afternoon left damage throughout Manitowoc and hundreds without power.
The rain and wind picked up early in the afternoon, causing tree limbs to fall and, in some cases, fences to topple over.
SeehaferNews.com also received a report of a tree house crashing down. Manitowoc Public Utilities first reported multiple outages around the city at 4:00 p.m., and by 5:30, 90% customers had their power back.
There were still several broken poles causing downed power lines and smaller outages into the evening hours.
We have reached out to MPU for the latest on the power restoration efforts, but they have stated online that “Many are complex restorations that involve broken poles, lines down, etc., and will take time to fully restore. Thank you for your continued patience.”
