The severe weather in Manitowoc left three local radio stations off the air.
WOMT’s FM frequency, 98.9, Lake 98.1, and Hot Country 92.1 all went off the air due to the heavy winds and thunderstorm earlier today.
As of 8:20 PM, Lake 98.1 is back on the air, but the other two frequencies remain off the air.
We are working on resolving the issue.
Manitowoc Public Utilities has stated that 90% of customers affected by the outage should have their service back.
