After clinching their eighth consecutive Big East North Division title Tuesday, the Mishicot girls’ softball team tries for a sweep of its home-and-home series with the Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers at the home of the Indians.
Mishicot (8-1 in Division play and 9-12 overall) has feasted on division foes but has just one victory in 11 non-conference games.
Most of those matchups have been against Division One and Two Competition, including facing four D-1 powers from out of state to begin the season in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
The Lancers (3-6 in Division play 6-7 overall) look to get back to .500 with an upset victory this afternoon.
The first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Elsewhere, Manitowoc Lincoln hosts De Pere, Sheboygan Falls travels to Roncalli, Two Rivers travels to Kiel, Chilton visits Valders, and Reedsville heads to Hilbert to battle the Wolves.
In boys’ tennis, Manitowoc Lincoln has an FRCC dual match at Green Bay Preble, and Roncalli/Manitowoc Lutheran heads to Howards Grove to meet the co-op of Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah.
