After having their undefeated streak snapped at 13 Monday night, the Kiel Raiders girls’ soccer team returns to Fifrick Field as they host rival New Holstein in EWC play.
Kiel needed a goal in the final three minutes to salvage a 2-2 tie with state-power Notre Dame as their “unbeaten” streak was extended to 14.
Despite the tie, Head Coach Mike Pritchard told seehafernews.com that he was proud of his team’s resolve under adversity and that they proved they could hang in there with the best in the state on their home turf, which will bode well for what they hope will be a run to the state tournament next month.
New Holstein comes into today’s match 2-2 in the EWC and 9-8 overall and looks for a season series split with their rival.
Match time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Manitowoc Lincoln looks to get back on the winning track as they head up to Green Bay Southwest to battle the Trojans in FRCC play.
