The Milwaukee Police Department is announcing an arrest in a deadly hit-and-run crash earlier this week.
Police explained yesterday that a person was taken into custody for Monday’s collision that left a 71-year-old dead.
The man entered the intersection at West Silver Spring Drive and North Hopkins Street when he was hit by the vehicle being driven by a 33-year-old man.
Police did not detail how the arrest was made, but noted charges will be referred to the district attorney’s office.
