A Reedsville woman charged with leaving children in a warm vehicle has been convicted.
24-year-old Hannah Sprang was found guilty due to no contest pleas on two misdemeanor counts of neglecting a child.
Sprang also pleaded no contest to a third charge of neglecting a child, but Judge Robert Dewane withheld the conviction due to a three-year deferred judgment agreement.
The 24-year-old was placed on probation for 3three years and must maintain full-time employment, have no contact with the children or their parents, and cannot babysit or provide daycare services.
She will also serve 30 days in the county jail under the Huber law.
Manitowoc Police were called to QT Nails and Spa in July last year on a report of children being locked in a car.
Sprang was confronted by the officer and said she was constantly checking on the children.
But security camera footage showed she had left the children in her vehicle just shy of an hour and a half.
The outside temperature was 69 degrees, and it was around 81 degrees inside the vehicle.
