Residents in the City of Plymouth will have the opportunity to dispose of their old electronics this week.
The City, in partnership with WPPI Energy, will be holding its annual electronics recycling event tomorrow (May 14th) at the Plymouth Utilities facility from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During the event, residents are invited to responsibly recycle a plethora of electronics, like personal devices, including cell phones, DVD players, and computers, as well as large items like microwaves, freezers, refrigerators, air conditioners, and more, free of charge.
However, there will be fees to dispose of select items, including batteries, incandescent, fluorescent, and LED bulbs, and plasma, projection, and console TVs.
Payment is required at the time of drop off, and cash or check will be accepted. A complete list of free and paid accepted items, as well as pricing, is available by visiting the Plymouth, Wisconsin Facebook page.
Those unable to attend tomorrow’s electronics recycling event are encouraged to contact the recycling center vendor by calling 920-349-6495 for drop-off or pick-up availability.
Meanwhile, those who will be participating are asked to enter the Plymouth Utilities facility, located at 900 County Road PP, via County Road O.
