An Eastern Wisconsin company is settling with the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul said Monday that the Neenah Foundry will pay $200,000 in forfeitures and court costs to resolve a civil lawsuit alleging violations of air pollution control permits.
The state alleges the foundry had 18 violations, including failure to maintain and operate air pollution control devices, inadequate recordkeeping, and failure to report deviations from permit requirements to the Wisconsin DNR.
The DOJ also says the Neenah Foundry did not perform yearly calibration for air pollution monitors.
The foundry creates manhole covers and street grates for public roads.
