Authorities are investigating after a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office employee was shot and killed Friday night.
Police say a suspect fired several shots into a vehicle, killing 56-year-old Dennis Johnson.
MCSO officials confirmed Johnson was a longtime public safety officer with the department.
Sheriff Denita Ball told WISN “she’s aware of an arrest” in the case but didn’t provide specifics on when or where the arrest took place.
Friends and family got together Saturday to remember Johnson during a vigil, sharing memories of him.
