Members of law enforcement were recognized for their work this week.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office held its annual awards banquet on Thursday (May 7th), where they paid their respects to those who played a pivotal role in keeping the local community safe.
Amongst the award winners honored were dispatchers at the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center.
Those receiving Awards of Excellence included telecommunicators Alicia, Sarah, and Tracey.
Meanwhile, telecommunicators Katie, Ross, and Taylor were honored with Life Saving Awards.
While the role of dispatchers is often overlooked by the public, these recognitions serve as a reminder of the crucial, and oftentimes, lifesaving role they play in times of emergency.
