The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is participating in a program to support families of active-duty military personnel.
The museum is participating in the Blue Star Museums program, a partnership that offers free admission to military members and their families.
While the Wisconsin Maritime Museum offers free admission to active-duty military, it will now extend to immediate family members.
The free admission program runs from Armed Forces Day (May 16th) through Labor Day (September 7th).
Each visit allows entry for the service member and up to five family members.
Active-duty military members must also present a valid military ID.
The initiative is in partnership with Blue Star Families, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Department of Defense.
