There are two meetings scheduled for today (May 6th) in the City of Sheboygan.
Starting off the day will be the Board of Police and Fire Commissioners, who will be holding a special meeting at 3:30 p.m. inside the first-floor conference room at City Hall.
The group will begin in a closed session to confer with legal counsel regarding the charges filed against Sheboygan Police Lieutenant William Adams.
They will then enter an open session to hold the preliminary meeting regarding these charges, which have been filed by Chief of Police Kurt Zempel. Another closed session will then precede “the decision, if any, of the Board of Police and Fire Commissioners related to the preliminary meeting on the charges against Lieutenant William Adams.”
Then, at 5:15 p.m., Mayor Ryan Sorenson’s International Committee will take over the first-floor conference room, where they will begin with a discussion on fundraising.
They will close out the evening by further discussing their Tea Talks, updates from Sheboygan’s German sister city, Esslingen, and the group’s community outreach and advocacy.
