The Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) is once again seeking applicants for one of its advisory committees.
The district has begun accepting applications for the Human Growth and Development Citizens’ Advisory Committee, with hopes of filling five positions.
The positions include a parent of an SASD student, two SASD high school students, a clergy member, and one community member.
All terms would expire in 2029, with the exception of one of the SASD student terms, which would expire in 2027.
Clergy applicants are required to reside within or serve the district, while all candidates applying are not permitted to be family members of an SASD employee.
The role of this committee is to advise the SASD board on the design and implementation of curriculum as it pertains to human growth and development.
Those looking to join the committee are asked to submit a letter of application, listing why they are interested and pertinent previous experience.
Applications can be emailed to Eric Spielman at espielman@sasd.net by no later than May 21st.
