The Kiel girls soccer team may still be unbeaten, but they had a real challenge yesterday in Kohler.
The Raiders knocked off the Blue Bombers 2-0 in a tough Big East matchup.
Taavi Saeger scored in the first half, despite a strong defensive effort by Kohler, who kept 11 players in the box.
Kiel Coach Mike Pritchard noted that this strategy made it “difficult to get shots off.”
Saeger was able to extend the lead to two thanks to a penalty kick in the second half, and the Raiders held on to pick up their eighth shutout win of the season.
This was also their 10th consecutive win to start the season.
Up next will be another road battle, this time against Valders tomorrow.
