A former Manitowoc County Board Supervisor and Manitowoc Common Council member has died.
The obituary for Mike Williams says he passed away on May 2nd at the age of 85.
Williams served on the Manitowoc County Board of Supervisors from 2014 to 2022 and deeply cared about community, leadership, and contributing wherever he could.
Originally from Ripon, Williams moved to Manitowoc in the mid-1980s to start a financial services business.
He would also later teach at Lakeshore College and became involved in the Manitowoc Drug Court System. County Executive Tyler Martell says Williams will be remembered for his wit and sense of humor.
Flags will be flown at half-staff on the day of his funeral on May 11th.
It will take place at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home in Manitowoc at 11:00 a.m.
A visitation will be held two hours before the service.
