Bond is set for a Chippewa County man accused of child abuse.
Dayne Paulson is charged with repeated physical abuse of a child and is being held on a $200,000 cash bond.
The victim in the case was less than a month old when authorities were called in April to Marshfield Hospital in Eau Claire on a report of suspected abuse.
Hospital staffers say the baby had injuries, including skull fractures, retinal hemorrhages, and brain lacerations.
