Individuals within the Sheboygan Area School District (SASD) have been honored for their hard work.
The district is proud to announce that Jennifer Boy, Allison McKeone, and Hazel Dulmes have been named Excellence in Education Award winners.
Boy is a Special Education Assistant at James Madison Elementary, McKeone teaches at Etude Elementary, and Dulmes is a districtwide Social Worker.
In total, 11 SASD faculty members were among the 150 award finalists out of over 600 nominations submitted from 20 schools across Eastern Wisconsin.
Winners were selected by a panel of area superintendents using written essays and a scoring rubric.
The Eastern Wisconsin Excellence in Education Awards are handed out every two years and aim to celebrate extraordinary educators.
All award winners will be recognized at the program’s ceremony, which will be held at the Kohler Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 15th.
