The 5th EWC golf meet of the season was a very close contest between five teams.
Sheboygan Falls may have been crowned the meet champions at Autumn Ridge Golf Course, but they only bested Two Rivers by 3 strokes.
In fact, the top five teams were separated by only seven strokes.
The Falcons ended with a 183, the Raiders posted a 186, Roncalli was third with a 188, the same as New Holstein, and Brillion ended the day with a 190.
Chilton/Hilbert finished 6th, followed by Valders and Kiel.
Also, there was a four-way tie for the best individual performance, with Roncalli’s John Vadney, Chilton/Hilbert’s Evan Grasse, and the Sheboygan Falls duo of Sam Bast and Braden Hiebing all posting a 9 over par 43.
Two Rivers golfers Owyn Bibby and Ben Gates finished in a tie for 5th with Ethan Hanke of New Holstein just one stroke back of the leaders.
