Sheboygan’s Bookworm Gardens is teaming up with the Sheboygan County 4-H for the 2026 Readers’ Roundup Storyscape.
This year’s rotating garden space will feature Harvey Potter’s Balloon Farm by Jerdine Nolen, which will be celebrated on May 16th.
Guests are invited to view the garden, which H places youth leaders at the center of the creative process, from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. and take in the 4-H members from across the county were actively involved in selecting the book, brainstorming design concepts, painting original art pieces, planting seedlings for the garden, and shaping the space into a vibrant storyscape that reflects their ideas of how to interpret the story.
Jordan Nickels, the Manager of Learning and Interpretation at Bookworm Gardens, said of the program, “Partnering with a different student organization each year allows us to share the work of Bookworm Gardens through many lenses, while giving young voices a real sense of ownership and pride.”
