The Manitowoc Public School District’s Board of Education will decide whether it will sell the land of the soon-to-be-closed elementary school back to the city.
The board is holding its reorganization meeting at 5:00 in the MPSD Office, where board members Paul “Biff” Hansen and Chris will be sworn in.
The board will also elect board officers, make appointments, establish representatives for CESA 7 and WASB, and then make committee appointments.
Immediately following that meeting, they will have a special meeting around 5:30 p.m. to look at the City of Manitowoc’s offer to purchase the Madison Elementary School property for $1.00.
The meeting also includes a closed session to issue final notices of non-renewal due to declining enrollment.
