Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce is now accepting nominations for its annual environmental awards.
Every year, WMC celebrates Earth Day with its Wisconsin Business Friend of the Environment Awards Program.
The awards are designed to celebrate companies that have implemented impactful environmental practices such as improving energy efficiency, reducing waste and emissions, conserving natural resources, and developing sustainable products or processes.
Nominations are open to the public, but private companies of all industries that demonstrate sound environmental leadership are also encouraged to self-nominate.
Eligible applicants must be headquartered or have significant operations in Wisconsin and must demonstrate a significant improvement they have undertaken or completed in the 2025 calendar year in sustainability, environmental stewardship, or environmental innovation.
The winners of the 36th Annual Business Friend of the Environment Awards will be selected by a panel of independent judges representing the business community, government, and environmental nonprofits.
