A Bellevue mental health organization has expanded its reach into Manitowoc County.
Risler Counseling and Consulting, LLC has officially begun serving the Lakeshore on a full-time basis, offering help with alcohol and drug abuse, marriage and family dynamics, veteran-specific challenges, and neurodiversity and autism support.
Risler Counseling and Consulting is owned and operated by Shawneen Risler, who incorporates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Risler explained, “I spend time listening and getting to know each person’s story, then we work together to identify what’s holding them back and what might help them move forward.”
