The Village of Reedsville has recognized its state champion boys’ basketball team.
The village issued a proclamation stating that they take great pride in recognizing the outstanding achievements of student athletes, specifically the Reedsville Panthers Boys teams, who won the Division 5 state championship in Madison last month.
The proclamation continues, saying that through hard work and determination, the team earned their state championship and brought honor and distinction to the community.
It was also the first time since 1946 to earn a state championship, making the victory especially meaningful as it builds on a proud, longstanding tradition.
Reedsville’s proclamation concludes by congratulating the boys’ basketball team, calling it a proud moment in the village’s history and an inspiration to future generations.
