A crash in Door County claimed the life of one individual.
The Washington Island Police Department was called to the intersection of Town Line Road and Range Line Road just after 6:30 Wednesday evening on a report of a single vehicle crash.
The initial investigation indicates a vehicle traveling east on Town Line Road left the roadway and struck a tree.
The male driver, whose name and age were not released, was the only person in the vehicle, and he died at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation, and no additional details are being released at this time.
The Washington Island Police Department was aided at the scene by the Washington Island Fire Department and Emergency Medical Responders, Door County Emergency Services, and the Door County Sheriff’s Office.
