Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig
Manitowoc County’s Sheriff is looking to get another term.
Sheriff Dan Hartwig announced last week on WOMT’s Be My Guest program that he is running for a third term after being elected successfully twice before.
Voters will be able to decide who the next Manitowoc County Sheriff is during the upcoming fall election.
Hartwig says it’s been his childhood dream to be a sheriff, and he’d like to do it again.
He also said his work in technology implementation at the department, along with increasing partnership and employee investment, are reasons to re-elect him.
He first ran in 2018 after then-Manitowoc County Sheriff Robert Hermann announced his retirement.
