Manitowoc County home prices rose for the third consecutive month to start the year.
The Wisconsin Realtors Association has released its March Home Sale Report, which notes that the median price of a home sold in Manitowoc County last month was $232,900.
This is only $1,900 higher than in February, but is also $27,900 higher than in March of 2025.
If we go back two years, the average price for a home has risen by nearly $33,000 in Manitowoc County.
The number of homes sold per month has stayed relatively steady to start the year, with the 55 sold in March only one fewer than in February, and four fewer than in January.
It is, however, six fewer than were sold last March, and 18 fewer than March 2024’s number of 73.
The statewide numbers followed a similar trend, with the $330,000 median price sitting $15,000 higher than last month and $20,000 higher than last March.
However, the 4,750 homes sold is 1,000 more than last month, and nearly 500 more than last year.
