A lakeshore fundraising tradition returns to Two Rivers tonight.
It’s the opening night of Heart-A-Rama at the J.E. Hamilton Community House, marking its 54th year of raising money for the American Heart Foundation and donating automated external defibrillators or AEDs to public gathering places throughout Manitowoc County.
This year’s theme is “On Wisconsin Heart-A-Rama” with skits this year including “Capone’s Nice Neighbors,” “The Wurst Race Ever,” and “The True Story of the Cheese Curd” among others.
Tonight’s special guest to help sell the “Best Seat in the House” is broadcast legend and friend to WOMT radio, Bill Jartz.
Guests will also include Comedian Charlie Berens next week, Miss Wisconsin Willow Newell tomorrow, and Culver’s CEO Craig Culver this Saturday.
Shows will also be on stage April 30th through May 2nd at the Two Rivers Community House.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets can be purchased at the Manitowoc and Two Rivers Piggly Wiggly for $20 a piece or $21 at heartarama.org.
