Multiple fire departments were called into action for a fire at a business in Calumet County.
The Harrison Fire-Rescue Department was called to the business on Robinhood Drive on Monday (April 20th) at just after 10:05 a.m. for the building that was filling with smoke.
The first unit on scene confirmed the report and found smoke emanating from multiple openings.
Everyone inside made it out okay before Harrison Fire-Rescue deployed a hose line and made entry, while other units called to the scene established a water supply and advanced backup lines.
Firefighters encountered dense smoke conditions in both the upper and lower levels but successfully located and extinguished the fire using thermal imaging cameras.
No emergency service workers were injured.
The exact cause of the fire remains undetermined. Harrison Fire-Rescue extended its appreciation to all agencies that assisted, including the Sherwood Water Department, WE Energies, Calumet County Sheriff’s Office, Gold Cross Ambulance, and Hilbert, Stockbridge, Chilton, Forest Junction, and Brillion Fire Departments.
