The Sheboygan Department of Public Works is alerting the public to an upcoming closure this week.
The DPW has announced that the Residential Recycling Center at 2026 New Jersey Avenue will be closed tomorrow (April 22nd) for the duration of the day.
Tomorrow, DPW crews will be performing branch grinding operations around the recycling center grounds, prompting the closure.
The department added, “For the safety of the residents and the operators of the equipment, the gates will be closed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Thank you for your understanding.”
After branch griding work is completed, the recycling center will once again return to regular operating hours on Thursday (April 23rd), opening at 8:00 a.m.
