A Sheboygan man has died following a car crash in Marinette County.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office reports that 66-year-old Terry A. Garbisch was traveling east on Main Avenue in the Village of Crivitz just after 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8th, when he failed to negotiate a turn.
Garbisch’s vehicle slammed into two vehicles at the intersection with Louisa Street, and because he was not wearing a seatbelt, he suffered serious injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office was informed on Saturday that Garbisch had passed away. Speed and alcohol, along with the failure to wear a seatbelt, were all listed as factors in the crash, although it remains under investigation.
Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller thanked the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office, Crivitz and Middle Inlet Fire Departments, Crivitz Rescue, Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area EMS, and Tim Witt Chevrolet Towing for their assistance.
