
There are three meetings on tap for today (April 20th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Personnel Committee will kick off the evening at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, where they will address a disciplinary issue with a represented employee.
They will also review a resolution to hire Brock Wetenkamp as the Director of Parks and Recreation.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., the Committee of the Whole will take over the Chambers, where they will discuss an offer to purchase Madison School from the MPSD for $1.
The Common Council will close out the evening in the Chambers at 6:30 p.m., where they will give the public a chance to voice input.
They will also administer the oaths of office for Lieutenant Benjamin Molnar, Motor Pump Operator Mark Lyman, Police Chief John Musial, Assistant Chief of Operations Craig Jansen, and Captain of Patrol Robert Arps, and will recognize former Manitowoc County Executive Bob Ziegelbauer for his years of service to the city and the county.
