Some candidates looking to become Wisconsin’s next Governor are coming to town.
The Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their Meet the Candidates Friday Forum today (April 17th) at the Sheboygan Elks Lodge, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Gubernatorial candidates signed on to participate in the event include 76th District Assemblywoman Francesca Hong, 26th District Senator Kelda Roys, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, former Secretary and CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Missy Hughes, and current Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin Sara Rodriguez.
While previously agreeing to be there, Joel Brennan, the former head of the Wisconsin Department of Administration, has since bowed out.
Other candidates who were invited but declined to speak include Mandela Barnes and Tom Tiffany.
During the event, Sheboygan residents will have the chance to hear directly from candidates, learn about the issues they care about, and ask questions regarding their vision for Wisconsin.
More information on the event can be found on the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
