
A Two Rivers man was taken to jail for drug possession.
Two Rivers Police pulled the 43-year-old over in the area of Memorial and Woodland Drive last night for a traffic infraction.
The officer then got probable cause to search the vehicle because it smelled like marijuana.
During the search, police found .55 grams of methamphetamine and 2.57 grams of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia.
The man is facing charges of possession of THC, a 3rd offense, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The 43-year-old suspect has another open case against him with similar charges. He was scheduled to return for a plea hearing in May.
The man has also been convicted of possession of methamphetamine charges back in 2019.
