The Manitowoc Lincoln Baseball Team returns to action this afternoon as they play host to the Pulaski Red Raiders in a FRCC contest at Bruce Steinbecker Field.
The Ships evened their conference record at 2-2 conference Tuesday by shutting out the Ashwaubenon Jaguars 10-0 as right-hander Bennett Johnson threw a solid outing and was provided plenty of offensive support, led by senior Brett Danielson’s three hits and a run batted in.
Pulaski comes to town with a record of 1-2 in the FRCC and 3-2 overall.
They haven’t played since splitting a doubleheader with West De Pere last Saturday. The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 4:30 p.m.
Other FRCC games this afternoon include Green Bay Preble tied atop the conference with Bay Port at 4-0, traveling to De Pere.
Bay Port heads to Green Bay Southwest, Sheboygan North visits West De Pere, and Ashwaubenon heads to Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay.
The rest of the baseball slate includes undefeated Random Lake (7-0) hosting Milwaukee Pulaski/Carmen South/Carmen Southeast/Juneau in The Jackie Robinnson Classic, Valders heading to Kohler to play Kohler/Sheboygan Christian, Kiel hosts Chilton in an EWC doubleheader, Kewaunee ventures to Brillion, Hilbert hosts Shiocton, Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah has a long bus ride to Manawa, Oostburg visits Mayville and Sevastopol is at Sturgeon Bay.
