A culvert failure on a Calumet County road is forcing an emergency road closure for a second time.
The county’s Highway Department says that it will replace the failed culvert on County Highway PP between Harvestore Road and Hacker Road starting yesterday.
The project is expected to continue today for a little bit. Motorists who use Highway PP in the area should use the detour.
Northbound traffic will be taken west on US Highway 10, then north on State Highway 32/57, then east on Highway 10 back to PP.
Soundbound traffic will be moved west on County Highway K, then south to State Highway 32/57, then east on Highway 10 back to the county highway.
Residents with questions can reach out to the Calumet County Highway Department at 920-849-1434.
Another culvert failed on County Highway PP on Tuesday as well.
