Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has declared a State of Emergency following this week’s powerful storms that caused widespread damage and flooding across the state.
Evers said the declaration will ensure additional emergency personnel and resources are available to support response and recovery efforts.
The move is intended to speed up assistance, improve coordination, and help communities begin rebuilding.
Several areas in Wisconsin experienced severe impacts, including evacuations and record-breaking rainfall, which contributed to significant flooding and damage.
