
The Two Rivers Raiders’ girls’ softball team looks for its fifth straight win and its seventh win in nine games this season as they entertain the Sheboygan Falls/Kohler in an EWC contest at Viet Nam Park.
The Raiders have a team batting average of .280 and a tremendous on-base percentage of .486 and are riding the right arm of senior pitcher Anna Klein in the circle, who has a minuscule earned run average of 2.08. Sheboygan Falls/ Kohler is still in search of its first EWC win of the season, but sports a potent offense that has hit the ball at a .310 clip through five games.
The first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
Elsewhere, Manitowoc Lincoln hosts Ashwaubenon, Roncalli hosts Chilton, Manitowoc Lutheran heads to St. Mary Catholic to play a doubleheader against The Zephyrs, and Kiel has a short bus ride to New Holstein. Games that have been postponed are Brillion at Valders and Mishicot at Reedsville. No makeup dates have been announced.
Meanwhile, in High School Track and Field, Mishicot hosts a co-ed meet which includes Manitowoc Lutheran, Reedsville, Sheboygan Christian, Hilbert, and Ozaukee, while Howards Grove hosts a co-ed meet as they welcome Reedsville, Random Lake, Cedar Grove/Belgium, Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah, and St. Mary Catholic to town.
Both events are scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
