Another park in Sheboygan is closed due to the recent rainfall.
The Humane Society of Sheboygan County has announced that the Muth Family Dog Park has been closed due to deteriorating ground conditions.
The park, located at 4108 South 18th Street, is currently experiencing extreme saturation, and with even more rain expected in the coming days, the choice was made to close off the space to the public.
Regarding the closure, the Humane Society explained, “To preserve the grass and prevent long-term damage, we need to allow time for the area to dry. We’re also unable to ensure that dogs and visitors remain safe on designated pathways during these conditions.”
At this time, the closure is scheduled to last until April 22nd.
